The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is evolving rapidly and the number of infected persons continues to rise in Ontario.  Its impact is now being felt at businesses, homes and communities. GP Wealth Management (GPWM) understands the urgent need to implement measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19. The health and well-being of our staff, Financial Advisors and clients is our priority.

As a result, GPWM is implementing the following procedures to minimize the risk of spread of the virus:

  1. As of Tuesday, March 17, 2020, GPWM will have as many Head Office team members as possible work from home. If you need to reach any one member of the Advisor Services or Compliance team, please contact them via email. They will get back to you either via email or phone.
  2. Our Head Office location at 5045 Orbitor Drive will remain open with minimal staff available for mail pick up and drop off by couriers and Financial Advisors however our office facilities such as the Board Room and Meeting Room will not be available and client meetings therefore cannot be conducted at this location until at least April 3, 2020.
  3. Financial Advisors are strongly encouraged to conduct client meetings by phone or email.
  4. For the NEXT 3 WEEKS ONLY (until April 3, 2020), GPWM will accept trades based on Limited Trading Authorization (LTA) where we have a valid LTA on file, even if a client’s plan is frozen. If you do not have an LTA for a client, please utilize the digital signature option using DocuSign. Please note that GPWM will continue to follow all other policies and procedures and expects its Financial Advisors to do the same to meet all regulatory requirements. This marks the first time that GPWM has had to enact its Business Continuity Plan (BCP) -- we may experience unforeseen glitches and ask for your patience as the situation evolves. We will keep you informed at all times.
