As you know, we have decided to change our digital signature services to a new provider, SignNow. The decision was the result of a review of our current system that lacked the features required to meet all our regulatory requirements from a digital signature system.  

While the SignNow functions very much the same as our current provider, the additional features will meet our regulatory requirements and enhance the user experience.   

Last week we hosted a webinar to provide training on SignNow which most of you attended and should now be versed in using this new digital signature system.  In addition, you should have already received an invitation to set up your account with SignNow.  

Transition Period

With this change, we will provide a transition period up to Friday, October 8, 2021, at which point SignNow will be our official digital signature provider and Signable will no longer be available.  

Important Notice:  

The digital signature system can be used for all Fundserv business (mutual funds and segregated funds) however there are no guarantees it can be used for living benefits (life insurance/critical illness/disability) or bank products (GIC deposits or T2033 transfers).   

For mutual funds and segregated funds processed through Fundserv, the investment dealer approves a digital signature system, however, with life products the insurance carriers approve the digital signature systems of their choice.    If you require any help in getting started, please reach out to the advisor services team. They can arrange a screen share meeting using TEAMS to walk you through the system and to answer any questions you may have.
